Our Mission

The mission of the Student Support Services Program is to maximize post-secondary educational experiences for participants who meet the federal income guideline and who are first-generation college students, culminating in a bachelor's degree in one of the academic programs offered at SIUC.

Our Objective

Our primary focus is to assist, support, and empower students  by providing a wide range of services that will be tailored to each student based on initial and continuing needs assessment to increase retention and graduation rates of these students from SIUC.

You will be given an application for admission into the program. Just fill it out and mail it or bring it by our office.  If you meet the eligibility guidelines and are selected for admission, your first initial interview will take place with a staff member who will help you develop a plan for success at SIUC.
