Preparing For College

When your child is about to make that all-important leap into adulthood, via college, the best thing you can do is be there for him or her and provide a strong support network.

If possible, you and your child should visit the school and find out who the key staff are.  It’s important for your student to build a good relationship with his or her academic advisor, financial aid officer, and resident assistant to ensure his or her success.  Making those contacts early can lead to wonderful networking opportunities in the future.
